CERAMICS: HANDBUILT TRINKET DISH WORKSHOP

Class Time: 12pm–3pm
Join Cristina Romero from Howdy Ceramics in making your new favorite pair of trinket dishes!
The first half of the class will focus on creating a trinket tray from scratch through the hand building process known as pinch-pot. Cristina will demo her technique while assisting the group in any variations they would like to explore, making sure the end product will be a beautiful, functional piece no matter your level of experience.
The second half of the class will focus on painting a pre-fired trinket tray with underglaze allowing you to fully customize its surface design!
Each workshop ticket includes:
3 hours of hands-on personalized instruction from a talented small business owner and artist
One blank bisque fired tray ready to glaze
Enough clay to build at least one 4" wide trinket tray
Use of other clay tools
Use of glazes and brushes
Printed handouts
Firing services after the workshop (your dish will be ready for pick up at P+CP 3-4 weeks after the class)
